May 10, 2011 update: The website is open! The 14th Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh is scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Most people will arrive on Friday, July 22nd. We will hold the mandatory briefing Saturday around noon on the 23rd and that the caravan will depart on Saturday around 3:30. Sunday will be on your own to walk the grounds and will likely be the day of our BBQ. AirVenture itself opens on Monday, July 25th.

For quite a few years all QUALIFIED pilots who wanted to fly the caravan have been acccommodated. We have denied acceptance for a few pilots who did not meet our criteria.

Between now and the actual caravan to Oshkosh, please practice flying with another aircraft. To properly participate in the caravan you should be able to hold station within sight of another aircraft on the flight profile and have recent stationkeeping practice.
