Planes, Planes and more Planes. Every type of plane known, from the old warbirds to the incredible Harrier! What an incredible event! Mooney Caravan meets in Madison, WI 2 days before the start of EAA AirVenture to utilize your training and proficiency gained in regional squadron clinics to fly in formation together to Oshkosh. Mooney Caravan began in 1998 when a few pilots decided the only way to ensure camping together was to arrive together in formation.

Aircraft vendors from all over the U.S. and Europe display their wares in 5 huge buildings on the grounds and during the day, a wonderful airshow entertains those attending! Many camp, some stay in hotels and a few rent homes just across from the field.

Mooney Caravan is one of those events that is a have-to-do-once-in-your-life-time event!
