Mid-Atlantic Group

The Mid-Atlantic Squadron was formed after the Mooney Caravan transition to all-formation flight by a core group of Caravan veterans in the Mid-Atlantic region. Thanks to energetic recruitment by some of our more "addicted" members, the squadron grew in 2017-2018 to be the largest contingent of the Oshkosh flight in recent years. The Mid-Atlantic Squadron boasts membership from from the Mississippi River to the Atlantic Coast and from Canada to Florida.
We mourn the the passing of our lead organizer, Bob "Breakdown" Belville but vow to carry on in his name. Bob was instrumental in making Hickory, NC the home of the Mid-Atlantic Squadron annual clinic and he will be fondly remembered for his warmth and generosity.
Adam "Sled" Carney is the founder and acting Squadron Lead of the and served as Mooney Caravan Lead for the 2019 mass arrival to Oshkosh. Contact "Sled" to get acquainted with the squadron, the Mooney Caravan and to get involved with formation flying!
