Saturday, July 18

• Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh
• 06:00 and 06:30 - Shuttle bus departs Holiday Inn at American Center. Pilots: please take the early bus.
• 07:30 - Mandatory Element Lead Brief - Mooney Lead planeside
• 07:45 - Mandatory Element Brief - Element Lead planeside
• 08:15 - Step
• 08:30 - Engine start
• 08:40 - Check in
• 08:50 - Taxi and runup
• 09:20 - Takeoff
• 10:00 - Arrival
• 12:30 (or 2 hours after landing) - Mandatory debrief at Mooney Caravan tent. Pizza will be available for the debrief, but please be seated and participating so we can complete the debrief.

Requirements

All pilots are responsible for attending a formation clinic and demonstrate proficiency prior to arriving in Madison on or before July 19.

Mooney Caravan pilots must meet all requirements before they will be able to fly in the mass formation to OSH:

• Review and be familiar with all formation materials
• Attend a formation clinic and demonstrate proficiency prior to arriving in Madison
• Hold a valid liability insurance policy on your airplane
• Read the EAA AirVenture flight procedures Notice, Mooney Caravan FAA LOA, Mooney Caravan mission briefing card, and carry printed copies of the EAA Notice and briefing card in the airplane
• Sign the Caravan event waiver on arrival
• Complete Caravan to Oshkosh registration and pay applicable registration fees.

In addition to Mooney Caravan requirements, pilots must arrange EAA tickets, hotels, and camping:

• Hotel reservation in Madison. See Mooney Caravan event page for hotel group rate.
• EAA AirVenture tickets
• Aircraft camping fee, payable to EAA upon arrival
• Purchase any Mooney Caravan gear and apparel ahead of time at our online store

Final approval for flight in the Caravan will be based on a review of flight experience and proficiency. Individual participation is at the discretion of the President and the Flight Leader.
